Stereo Exchange Celebrates 25 Years
Representatives from several top audio manufacturers will be on hand to demonstrate their latest products and speak with guests. Featured products on display will include NAD's new M2 Direct Digital amplifier, Grado's top-of-the-line PS1000 headphones, Vienna Acoustics' The Music loudspeakers, and McIntosh's MEN220 room correction system. Other brands in attendance will include Arcam, Audio Research, Ayre Acoustics, B&W, Crestron, Furman, Integra, JA Michell, Kaleidescape, Marantz, Meridian, Peachtree Audio, REL, Rotel, Sonus Faber, Totem Acoustic, Transparent Cable, Universal Remote, and Wadia. Prizes from each vendor will be raffled off. The grand prize of the evening is a $2500 gift certificate redeemable at Stereo Exchange. In addition, singer-songwriter, Lori Leiberman, best known for her classic ballad, "Killing Me Softly," will perform live. Refreshments will be served.
Once a tiny hole-in-the-wall specializing in used gear, Stereo Exchange has grown into a cavernous fortress of hi-fi in Manhattan's fashionable NoHo neighborhood. While this anniversary celebration is an invitation-only event, it marks the formal launch of Stereo Exchange's "greatest sale ever," which runs from Thursday, November 5, straight through Sunday, November 8. Stereo Exchange is located at 627 Broadway, between Bleecker and Houston Streets. For more information, visit www.stereoexchange.com or call (212) 505-1111.
