This is the waveform of the Compaxx remastered version of the 4 Seasons, decoded with the same Fraunhofer decoder that was used to encode it. The peak levels are now 0.1dB (L) and -0.21dB (R) and there are 4 instances of clipping. The average RMS levels have been increased by 4x (12dB), at -10.73dB (L) and -12.98dB (R). These changes are why I suspect the use of some sort of multiband compression algorithm, which applies a frequency-dependent and level-dependent gain.
