The spectral analyses I posted raised some questions about the waveforms. This is the entire waveform of the 4 Seasons excerpt decoded from the MP3 posted on the Compaxx website. Note that much of the dynamic range window is used to preserve occasional peaks. This is why the average RMS level (-22.77dB L, -24.92dB R) is so much lower than the peak (-0.26dB L and -5.13dB R). This behavior is characteristic of high-quality, wide-dynamic-range recordings of acoustical music.
