Hi team, this has been an overwhelming yet insanely useful site to read about high tech audio gear. I have been building a system over the past few years to enjoy the vinyl experience and reached the point where I need advice on what is the weak area of my system or figure out where best to spend money to get the best upgrades. Current system includes
Project genie 1.3 turntable with Ortofon 2m blue cartridge.
Simaudio Moon Neo 220i amplifier
Nad phono preamp pp2i
B&W CM9 Loudspeakers
No special accessories or cables, just 10 guage speaker wire, and gold plated audio cables.
I do run my tv through this system as well but not as concerned about this or my cd player (NAD c516bee) as I mostly am playing vinyl for musical experience. Lately I have been trying to invest in higher or the best quality pressings as an investment but curious to know where I should go from here!
Side note: I do live in an apartment and have to keep listening levels to a reasonable volume. During the late hours I use a pair of Grado ps500 headphones.
