I am planning to buy an Audio system and am a novice in this field. I have visited a lot of dealers for trials and am thinking of the following components. I request advise on my selection and availability of any other alternatives in terms of cost and performance as I may not have considered them. My room size is about 6M x 4M. For the money that I am going to spend, does this combination have any basic flaw which I have not considered. I liked the sound of this combination. I played Allan Taylor, David Roth, Eva Cassidy, Eagles and Dire Straits during the audition. The stockfisch CDs definitely sounded superior to others due to their quality. I also experienced difference when I changed interconnects between the used Transparents and Chord (Cobra and Crimson). Should I Biwire the speakers and if so what cable should I use. What is the advantage of Biwiring.

2. Pre Amp - Arcam FMJ 31
3. CD Player - Arcam CD 37/ CD 17
4. Speakers - Monitor Audio GS 60
5. Speaker Cable - Chord Silver Screen or Odessey
6. Interconnects - Transparent Music Link Super and Music Link
(Used Cables because I have got them cheap)
7. Power Chords - Supra
