All right, listen up all you haters. Here's some inexpensive gear to help you forget about the prices of Lamm preamps, Magico speakers and DarTZeel amplifiers.
Furutech, who also make some of the finest and coolest-looking cables and cable terminations in the business, has released a new integrated amplifier. The Le Mans 60W puts out (you guessed it) 60Wpc of class-D amplification. This is a little amplifier that does it all: it accepts USB, optical, and coaxial digital inputs as well as analog RCA. The amp comes with its own low-latency USB 2.0 driver that will play and record at 24 bits and 96kHz. It also has a 3.5mm headphone output on the front panel for, as Furutech's literature says, "more
intimate listening." Oo La La! The Le Mans 60W retails for $1200.
