I was fortunate to have Dr. Chris Feickert adjust my cartridge and tonearm and test their performance parameters at this year's THE Show. As he was doing this, he lusted after my Rolling Stones MFSL box set.
So tonight, after a long hiatus, I decided to do an MFSL search on the 'bay.
Holy crap! Somebody's trying to sell the Beatles MFSL box set for 4K!. It does not seem that long ago when a few hundred bucks was a decent price. Now with the Stereo/Mono and FLAC recordings, this seems like a true waste of money. Especially with the re-mastering flaws that have been well documented:

I'll just wait until any vinyl reissues come out. But wait, will the Japanese imports be better than the domestic?
