Hi guys. I am new in this Forum, so first of all nice to meet you everybody!
I am a professional classical musician and as many of them I am broke
I want to spend some money (some hundreds of USD?) on my sound card, though, because it is really the case. I should use it just to listen to my recordings and eventually to edit. I don't need a sound card that is good to record, since for the recordings, I go to the studios. What I want to do is to be able to make the editing by myself. I have very good headphones, nice CPU and RAM and a very good software.
At the moment, I am using a SoundBlaster Audigy 2 ZS. I'd like to buy something close to a professional level, but about hardware I'm a complete ignorant
.
What about Edirol FA-101 Firewire? Is it good to use a firewire sound card?
What else could I choose?
I would need to use it especially for the sound of the piano.
Any help would be very much appreciated!
Thank you very much...
