i have finally got the chance to get a decent stero system after moving from an apartment into my own house its been about 20 years since i had a really loud system so i bought a Pioneer VSX-82TXS reciever and a set of cerwin vega VE 15 speakers it sounds okay at moderate volumes but when i try to crank it up past 70 % it sounds like crap i am not getting the strong base i expected and the tweeters give up at anything above 70 % volume i am thinking that its the recievers problem not being able to output enough power to the speakers or have i just wasted my money on these speakers? i also have this reciever hooked up to a cerwin vega CVHD 5.1 surround system using the VE 15s as fronts making a really powerfull 7.1 surround system but when i switch to stereo and try to listen to music the VE 15s fail to deliver the power i was expecting
