I am in desperate need of new speakers for my system, which is far from perfect to begin with. Currently I am using a mix of random speakers I have acquired for free over the years, and it is just not cutting it anymore.
There is a set of Bose series 501 that I can buy for somewhere around 100 dollars. I have not tested them, so I do not know their working condition, however, are these worth it?
I do not know much about speakers, so any help would be nice.
If it is not worth buying the Bose speakers, then what would be a good brand to get, with a budget that is really low (somewhere around 200-300). I do not really need a subwoofer, at least I do not think I do, and I have been searching around on the product reviews for this site. I just do not want to put too much money into speakers because eventually I need to buy a new turntable, and money is limited at the moment.
Any help is greatly appreciated!!
