10 to 15 years ago this site had great surveys of its readers. One question would be posted with multiple choice answers once a week. People could always kick in free-form answers.
At some point the site manager stopped it -- I think explaining that Stereophile had exhausted good questions.
In response to that, first, many years have passed. You can answer the same questions now and you will be asking it of different people and of the same people who have changed. Even those who visited the site years ago would be interested in the answers again because we have forgotten the way the questions were answered then.
Also the world of audio has changed and there are questions that would be of interest now that probably couldn't have been asked then because the technology hadn't yet developed.
Finally, I am sure Stereophile's editors and publishers would be interested in how readers answere some questions.
For all these reasons I say -- bring back the website surveys!
