I have decent headphones (for my tastes, and theyre much nicer than any of my friends headphones), but I dont like wearing them all the time and my computer speakers sound awful. Im looking for some decent speakers to use with my computer that wont break the bank. I believe that I have an old yamaha reciever kicking around at my house (I don't know how old, but its probably from the 80s) that I could probably use. I will be living in an apartment, with roommates, so Im not looking for huge speakers, probably some decent bookshelf speakers would suffice. I'm not looking to spend more than about 5-600 on the speakers (up to 750 if its a really good deal), do you guys have any suggestions? I dont care as much about sound as Im sure some of you do, but I would like to upgrade from the terrible speakers I have currently.
