First time posting. Have been enjoying reading other posts and learning. But still could use some guidance.
Been in the slow process of building my home system and currently have a Denon AVR-591 powering SVS Ultra bookshelf with a Ultra SB-13 sub. Listen to digital files (44.1 to 192), mostly jazz but also enjoy classical and bass centric electronic. The sound of the Denon is very good but seems to be underpowered with the lower efficiency SVS's. Now at the point to go further in the process and have been researching various amps. But the process is absolutely overwhelming.
For an integrated amp, have been considering the Rogue Pharaoh/Shinx, Hegel and T+A Power Plant Balanced. Would these be appropriate for driving the SVS Ultra's? Do not listen to music at elevated volume levels and have my system in a smallish room. Yes, I am also considering a separate DAC as well but that is a different discussion.
Any thoughts or amp alternatives would be greatly appreciated. Budget $3,500 or less.
