Greetings...still a newbie here trying to tweek...For a little background - original I placed my speakers for the widest equal lateral distance and still have my listening position near the 38% point (see pic in the galleries posts). After doing some more research I tried using the Cardas calculations for speaker placement and a near field listening position (turns out my listening chair still stayed the same - only had to move my first reflection point absorbers)...the results are awesome as far as imaging/sound stage (having the speakers so close to me took some getting used to!)

Now my question - I used the Chesky Test Disc for toeing in the speakers(using a laser level)- the "over" and "lateral tones" sound really close to "perfect" after tweeking - but the "up" tone on the right speaker starts out about 3 feet up and hangs there - then gradually drops back down and finally climbs back up to 6 feet or so. Anyone have any ideas what might be causing this? Thx
