I've been struggling to find any relevant information about this, so I figured this would be a great place to ask.
I've heard both sides of the fence here, so I'm not 100% sure which is accurate.
Please understand that I'm already aware that it's better to listen off of the hard drive with a lossless rip, but that's not the question at hand at this time.
A) What makes a good computer CD transport? I know that the player will have a great impact, so please negate that aspect of it for now.
B) I've heard it doesn't make a difference on a computer, but I'm not inclined to believe it. Is this right or wrong?
C) If there is a difference, can someone please list a few of the better options out there? In all form factors, it's ok.
