I have a 2017 Cyrus One which I am enjoying, except for the aptX Bluetooth sound. It's 'near CD quality,' but I want better quality from my Spotify/iPhone to my One.
I'm deciding between a DAC and Streamer, and I don't need to be wireless so I can either have my computer plugged into the computer or iPhone. Wireless is a bonus but I'd rather not sacrifice sound for it.
A streamer seems good because I can potentially control my music via remote, leaving my phone or computer connected to the streamer.
So my questions are:
-DAC or streamer
-a streamer with a DAC
-a separate streamer and separate DAC
-overall, which brands/models (I'm partial to Cambridge, Bluesound, Auralic)
