I recently purchased a pair of the Dali Helicon 800 speakers. I am extremely pleased with their musicality, the neutrality and full range capabilities of these wonderful speakers. As a side bonus the cabinetry is really great. I purchased a pair of the light cherry cabinets.

Prior to purchasing the 800's, I auditioned the Kef 205's, Vandersteen's (not sure of models), and B&W 803Ds", and numerous other manufacturers. I realize that everyone has different listening taste and I am not knocking any of these other outstanding speaker models. However, when I heard the 800's, "for me", there was something more magical when I heard them. My primary musical genres are jazz, opera, symphony and musicals.

For a large floor speaker they sound excellent at both low and higher volumes.

My question is this. Can anyone provide insight on whether or not you've read any reviews on these speakers? Also, if any of you have a set of your own and your feelings about them.

I can't understand why these speakers haven't been reviewed in more publications.

Thank you.

Gary Kaminske
