For my digital front end source components I'm currently using the DCS Vivaldi stacks that consist of the following : Vivaldi master clock/streamer unit, Vivaldi upsampler unit, Vivaldi DAC unit, Vivaldi CD/SACD transport unit.
I'm thinking to possibly make a switch to the following Esoteric Grandioso stacks : G1 master clock, Grandioso D1 monoblock DAC, Grandioso P1 CD/SACD transport. It's not like my DCS Vivaldi aren't great but I want to try out these Esoteric Grandioso stacks and see how it would stack up against my DCS Vivaldi.
Has anyone ever compared the DCS Vivaldi stacks against the Esoteric Grandioso stacks and how they would stack up against each other? I've never personally listened to the Esoteric Grandioso stacks but have read outstanding reviews about them.
Since we don't have a single Esoteric dealer in our area so there's no way that I can demo the Esoteric. I will have to fly to other states in order to do that.
I also would like to find out that the Esoteric Grandioso will be a great match tonally with the rest of my gears.
I'm using the Dan D'Agostino Momentum stereo analog linestage preamp with the Dan D'Agostino Momentum M400 monoblock amps (2 pairs) in bridge mode. My speakers are Wilson Audio Alexx.
Speaker cables, interconnects, power cables are Transparent Opus.
The DCS Vivaldi stacks have great synergy in my system and setup. Have no idea how the Esoteric Grandioso stacks will sound in my setup and system.
