I am trying to decide between the DEQX and TACT 2.2XP systems. My room has serious base problems but it also has issues with higher frequencies due to a fair bit of glass that I cant obscure with curtains etc.

Does anyone know which system is better able to correct high frequencies - DEQX in their white paper says that corrections are more effective at lower frequencies - this worries me. TACT does not have any such disclaimers. Is the processing power/algorith implementations of the two units so different that one would be much better than the other at higher frequencies?

Second question: Is there a significant advantage to the DEQX method of correcting the speaker first then doing the room corrections? It would seem to me that you should be able to correct both room interaction and speaker issues in one correction.

Thanks
