The block of Mpingo wood (also known as East African Blackwood) that has been squared up and awaits milling and turning. Some of the nicest grain I've ever seen with georgeous coloring. Also one of the hardest wood I've ever milled and incredibly heavy. Feels like light stone of very dense plastic (like Delrin).
