Odd question here. I have a 1998 Panasonic DVD player with coaxial and optical audio out. They are meant to go to DTS/AC-3 decoders. Would connecting them to a DAC work also? I have a NAD D3020 with a 24 bit DAC. If I connect the two should that work? Not interested in 4.1 or anything, just straight two channel audio with a CD. More of a curiosity than anything else. Want to utilize the DVD player as a CD transport for right now.
