Hello dear Stereophile Community
I'm about to build my living room setup, and am searching for a speaker. I don't have this large of a choice since I live in Israel, but I found a "deal" on the Dynaudio Audience 52, not the SE. Of course I can and will listen to it first, and in theory there is nothing bad about "old" (not vintage) speakers, but I ask myself how these compare to newer Speakers in the same price range.
For me same price range means something different for US citizens, since everything is more expensive here :) I can get these 2nd hand for $695. Just for comparison so that you undertand the prices here, the KEF LS50 here costs new $2033, Morel Octus 5 2nd hand $550, Dalui Lektor 3 2nd hand $615, Quad 11L Classic new $550, B&W 685 S2 new $1030, B&W S2 686 S2 new $770, Monitor Audio Bronze 2 new $718, Monitor Audio Silver 2 new $1233, Tannoy Mercury V1 new $450...
So these are the prices here... :(
I already have a DAC (LH Labs Geek Pulse Sfi) but am more interested to find a good speaker, prefer a wooden look :)
Thanks
