I've been quite impressed with my audition of the M16i. Surprised me how detailed they are.
I was originally going to trade up from my Totem Arro to the Model 1 Sigs, but the price of the Epos, and the fact there is no extra cost for stands, is making this a tough decision.
For anyone with experience with both brands.... will I tire of the detail and clarity of the M16i's? The one thing I found my Arros to do better than Epos is the "disappearing act" and soundstage. The M16i doesn't have that, but allows me to hear every instrument in the recording.
I guess I'm having a hard time understanding why this $1500 speaker sounds so great up against the $2600 Model 1. I'm waiting for the "other shoe to drop", and find out that it's really not the case, and worried that it's going to happen AFTER I buy them...
