I have a mixed bag system with new speakers/KEF LS50 and preamp/Quicksilver line preamp and OLD amp/AudioResearch D51 and CD player/Rotel....(not to talk about phono right now) speaker cable and interconnects were made by a small shop 30+ years ago....I am interested in suggestions for upgrades to interconnects CD to preamp, preamp to amp, and new speaker cable (about 10')...has to be less than 1000$ and ideally closer to 500$ or less for all to meet my budget....locally can easily get Kimber, Audioquest (and surely others but haven't looked much yet)...thanks, Chet
