Hopefully this is where this thread should go. I've driven them with various 35-50 watt mid level amps and as much as I really like these speakers I feel like I am not getting their best.
SO I am looking at amplification in the 100wpc range:
Rogue Cronus Magnum 2
Yamaha A-s2100
?
I've heard that Naim pairs well with them, also Creek. No dealers for either in my area.
I'm leary about not having any tone controls (not that I make but tiny adjustments - but some of my old dub plates are mixed really hot).
Open to suggestions!
P.S. I really like the sense of depth and the crispness and the speed I'm currently getting, just looking to beef up the lower mids (where the impedance drops to 4-ish) and a touch more bass.
