I have a pair of Gallo's ref. III and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on a suitable matching pre-power amp to go with them. Unfortunately I found out that my old B&K is not powerful enough and have damaged the speakers.. not wanting to take any chances I seek for advise from those of you who have some to offer.
I was offered the Cambridge Audio 840 pre-power combination. Any opinions on how well this would match the speakers? (not had a chance to listen to this system yeat as I'm waiting for my speakers to be fixed first... I am interested in music, not Home Theater. many thanks for your help,
