Hello Sterophile Forum Users:
I am having trouble getting sound output from my Denon
DRA 395 Stereo Receiver hooked up to Creative SB X-FI Console Mixer Box. (The internal sound card works fine but I do not have the cable type to test the sound card aspect with the Denon and prefer the Console Mixer...)
I have a new Mono Audio Cable hooked up to the Monitor out position on the Denon. (I will probably get a stereo cable instead soon. Could that be the problem?)
I have the other end plugged into the S/PDIF Out spot on the
SB X-FI. This was according to the chart showing a AV amplifier hookup option.
