From the Economist

"BY THE narrowest of majorities, America's Supreme Court ruled on Thursday January 21st that Congress may not bar corporations and unions from paying to disseminate political messages at election time. The ruling is arguably a blow for free speech, although critics of the decision quickly concluded that it would lead to big business buying elections."

Thank you Supreme Court for making it all the easier for politics to be bought and sold by the highest bidder. That last presidential election- the one with record spending? You haven't seen nothin' yet. So much for the New Revolution of bringing politics back to the people... Too late Tea Baggers- your vote is now in someone else's pocket.

On the plus side, maybe we'll get multi-party politics back! The Googlecrat Party, Micropublicans, Exxonicrats, and many, many more!
