I'm new on this thing and I want to buy a Stero Receiver / Integrated Amplifier, and for what I`ve investigated and my budget, I have 3 options:
HARMAN KARDON HK 3490 $449.00
ONKYO TX 8050 $399.00 (coming soon)
MARANTZ PM5004 $499.99
It seems HK is the best option of these 3, (more powerful 120 Watts p/c) also the appearance is the best (which is not important).
Are the Harman Kardon 120 w/c comparable with the Onkyo 80 w/c or Marantz 35 w/c ? I mean is a lot of difference (in numbers)
Marantz has also good appearance but no display which I beleive is needed
Onkyo is the cheapest
Also need a recomendation on speakers, again don't know anything, bose 301 :S $330.00 pair or something similar (price)
Mainly playing computers music, internet radio (squeezebox) and a Technics turntable, would like to connect a dock for the iPOD also.
