I know I'm not the only one, and it's probably just sour grapes by not being able to attend, but the HE 2007 show in New York did not garner near the press coverage as HE 2006 in Los Angeles. Stereophile did their customary fine job presenting rooms and comments each day, but the outside sources (enjoythemusic excepted) didn't have reports. If we expect our hobby to grow, thereby giving us better products down the road, the word has to be spread on a wider basis. That means the press and internet making the masses aware that there are better products than Circuit City and Best Buys et. al.
Since Los Angeles had major listings on at least a dozen internet sites, I suggest all future HE shows are presented in L.A.
