I am completely new to these forums and I'm really not sure if this is the right type of place to ask (the forums are for audio stuff right? heh) but I'll try it anyways.
I am looking to buy some new 5.1 computer speakers/home theater system for my computer. So far I have come across a lot of different systems, of which I have really liked the kipsch promedia ultra (though it got discontinued) and the logitech z5500 (which seems to have gotten really good reviews).
I want to connect this system to my computer as well as my tv. I don't exactly know how to to do that, or if it would be difficult.
Would you guys suggest anything else to look at? I am able to spend a good amount on this system, but I haven't found anything that fits what I am looking for that costs more than 300.
