I'm looking to get a new system for my bedroom with a budget of around $1,500. I also don't have alot of space so some sort of all in one unit or close to it would be ideal. I'd like to be able to dock my iphone/ipod preferably with a direct connection DAC, also I'd like to be able to stream both internet radio stations and itunes from a couple of macs, plus flac files on my NAS drive, a good set of monitor speakers and potentially include a CD player. I thought about the Sonos but one speaker (the S5 I think?) just won't do it for me. I looked at the peachtree musicbox and the idecco, which are both options but what happens if Apple decides to change their iphone/ipod connection set up? I would love a Naim uniti but that's just out of my price range at $4,500. I've also seen reviews for the Arcam solo neo and the Marantz C-CR603 but I haven't listened to them. So, I'm wondering what other options might be out there, as I'm sure there are others that I haven't thought of or know about. Thanks in advance for any suggestions or advice! I really am open to any new ideas.
