I have a Linn DS player and been buy hi-res music over the last few years. In the last month I have been cut off from all the major players who sell this music such as HDtracks.
The reason is because of area restrictions. The only reason I can no longer purchase is because I live in Australia.
There are a couple of sites here which sell music online but have litlle 24bit music.
Have you heard anything so ridiculous?

When searching for Paul Simon's new album one of the google results was a site in Russia where I could get it free if I so desired, but have'nt weakened yet.

With all this bullshit going on I don't think I could be blamed for thinking about it.

Wrote to Sony and Concorde music about this but never recieved a reply.
