I have a ten years old system and I would like to improve it. The amp is Yamaha 85 watts x 2 and Definitive Technology BP 8 speakers.
The question I have been struggling with is whether I should upgrade the amp or the speakers first.
Recently I got a good set of headphones which are showing much more detail than my speakers. I wonder if this is an indication that I should change my speakers first.
I would appreciate any suggestion about my dilemma.
