I am moving to a new apartment and had book cases and cabinets built in to the den. Unfortunately the cabinet maker and I miscommunicated on the opening needed for my KEF 104/2 speakers and now I have an opening that accommodates a speaker no larger than 27"H x 12.5"W x20"D. I am considering the Paradigm SE1 book shelfs with a SE Subwoofer or place the Renaissance Audio MLP-403.5 on stands in the openings I have and sacrifice a little bass timber. Does anyone else have a solution I would like to stay below $1500. I drove my KEF with a NAD C352 adequately. I like a clean mid range but not loud volumes.
