!!!Please, no "snake-oil" debates. They aren't helpful!!!
I have a pretty decent upper-end stereo and multi-channel setup used for both music and home theater.
I'm looking at downsizing my audio cable investment, and am interested in inputs from people having taken the time to perform listening comparisons between BJC (Blue Jeans Cable) and other more pricy brands (Transparent, Kubala, etc). I'm NOT interested in inputs from people who have NOT actually compared -- and please, no soapboxes!
I'm very satisfied BJC video cables are top notch in performance, but audio is a different application and hence my asking. (I see Audioholics specifically likes the BJC 5T00UP 10AGW speaker cables -- I find them to work well on my center channels, somewhat relaxed highs and a seemingly good midrange and bottom.)
The primary cable I'm interested in is a 15ft balanced run from preamp to poweramp, other possibilities would be 5.1 RCA cables, plus surround and perhaps main speaker cables. Since the components are pretty high quality, differences are usually audible.
Any inputs?
