I was set to pull the trigger on a Rogue Sphinx v2, but came across the Music Fidelity M3si on sale ($400 off the list price).
I've heard the Rogue with Technics SB C700s and KEF LS50s and liked it a lot, but I have not heard it with the Dali Zensor 3 or KEF Q300 speakers that I have, and will use with the amp. The decision was based upon my limited audition, as well as reviews of the Rogue.
I have never heard the MF amp at all.
The new amp will be replacing an Onkyo A9050. I decided to move upscale, and would like something a bit more dynamic and exciting. I listen to jazz, classical, and occasionally pop/rock music.
The Rogue was marginally less $, but the on sale MF is less than the Rogue, and I love a bargain.
Any thoughts on the relative merits of these amps?
