Hi
Taking my first plunge into real HiFi, have been doing a lot of research & have decided on Jamo C 807 speakers, now I'm looking for a lean fast amp & CDP to match it.
At the moment the Rotel RA-06 & RCD-06 seems the most likely options, Cyrus amp has been recommended but is double the price.
The other makes sold here in Dubai are Marantz, NAD, Denon, Onkyo, Pioneer, other makes probably above my budget are Cyrus, Naim, Arcam.
If anyones interested or would like to help decipher bellow reviews.

Amp Rotel RA-06

The 803 & 807 got 5 stars in What Hifi magazine, they said they had fabulous scale, weight timing & punch. Apparently the bass is smooth & full, & the trebble is extended, this leads to enjoyable scale & fullness, but they can lack a bit of an edge & the midrange can be a little recessed. As a result the mag recommend pairing them with a lean fast amp.
Based on my interpretation of above reviews it seems the Rotel 06 combination brings out the mid band, which could be ideal.
Though one editor said the CD lacks drive not sure what this means in this context?
Power is a concern should I need more later, the problem is that when bi amping the Jamos the second set of terminals only feed the tweeter. Could I bi-amp with the 2 amps connected (so the only advantage is more power)?
Would love to get this over so I can just relax with some music (rock, folk, pop, classic, in a med large room).
Thanks for reading.
