Hey all,

I've got the opportunity to acquire a pair of Kef 104/2's for a very good price.

I will listen to them tomorrow, and I'm wondering for those of you with experience with these speakers, what things should I look out for during the audition?

Some concerns:

1. Ferrofluid tweeters may need to be replaced as the fluid is now gel after 20 years.

2. Woofer surrounds and crossover. How do I check the crossover?

The speakers were made in the late '80s.

I'm not as concerned with superficial cabinet blemishes and the like, rather any components that will affect the sound.

Thanks!
