I recently purchased a pair of Klipsch Kg4 speakers as is, hoping I would be able to bring them back to life. After a further look I think my $20 investment will end up getting wasted.
Both speakers are missing their 12" passive radiators.
I also found that one of the 8" drivers is disconnecting from its rubber surround. I think this may be able to be fixed with some sort of glue.
The big problem however is the horns. Neither of them are working at all. I don't know if it is a crossover problem or the horns themselves. I will try to test this tomorrow if I have some time.
So the basic rundown is I have 3 good Klipsch 8" speakers.
Are these worth fixing or should I scrap them and sell the good drivers?
