Dear Readers, as a life long audiophile and music lover that cares for this great hobby it is time for me to speak up.
Reading through the great cable debate on this forum and others I have found time and time again well spoken contributers that continue to post psuedo scientific cable nonsense to promote the value of severily over priced interconnects and speaker wires.
Maxwells equations and skin effect are two examples real scientific principles that are often quoted to explain non existant short comings of realistically priced cables. This is nonsense. These principles have no effect in the audio band. It is just BS.
In fact almost all cable dealers know that the whole cable myth is just a scam. In many cases as you walk out of the door of the audio shop a few hundred dollars lighter and a bag of mediocre but high priced cables in your hand - YOU are being laughed at by the dealers. You have just become another mark.
For many of todays audio dealers dumb customers are good customers, yuk, yuk yuk.
