I grew up listening to my dad's very vintage Philips stereo consisting of a 2-way system with the bass speaker mounted in the wooden ceiling and the tweeter hanging loose next to it. All my friends say this is awful, but I love the sound of the old "lazy" speakers (lazy as in opposite of very new and fast and hip sounding speakers like Dynaudio's).
Now I'm looking for a set that has that same laziness, that vintage sound, warm and easy and not so "in your face".
What should I be looking for, 'cause i've really got no idea. Old JBL's (L100)? Philips? or vintage KEF cresta's?
Please help...
