OK, so this article is actually from the Steve Hoffman audio site but the reason I'm posting it here is because number one the article is by Steve Hoffman himself and because the subject of the article - the subjective evaluation of tape vs CD vs SACD is near and dear to our hearts. Well, maybe not everyone's heart, but nevertheless. So this link will get you to the first post by Steve Hoffman followed by a good healthy exchange of various opinions. Anyone here agree or disagree with the conclusions Steve makes?
