Hey everyone, I'm kind of new in this field and join not so long ago. I grab some few things I had at the basement and family and start my life in a stereo. Right now I have a marantz sr810 and dynaco a40xl... Pretty solid. I would like to do some upgrade. I found right now two options, 1. Mcintosh mx113 preamp, so what I plan to do with that right now is connect it to the marantz I have as an amp( I know that not a good idea) but my budget aloud me one piece for now, or get a good marantz 2240 that I found as a receiver that do all the job.
Both coast the same, 300$
What so you think I should do? Or other option?
