First I want to state that I enjoy Michael's columns, appreciate his helping me personally with my turntable issues and I am not affiliated in any way with any electronic industry firms.

I was able to attend the Denver Audiofest this past weekend on both Friday and Sunday. Each time Michael was in the mbl room. It appeared he was very involded in helping them demo the system. He was playing his material (not odd on it's own) instructing them on what was the correct volume was for each tune and pointing out thinks he felt relevent to those with or near him. Now had that occured in only one sitting it wouldn't have struck me as odd. However - it appears Michael spent a considerable amount of time in that room. Was he being paid to do so? If so how is that acceptable? If not and he was only helping - isn't there a point where that becomes a problem? Did he offer that much help to other vendors at the show? I would like to know how much time he spent in that room, what his purpose for doing so was and if he spent any time reviewing other rooms or helping them demo their gear.
