Once the mono tests had concluded and the identities of the 5 mikes were revealed, the Cardas mikes (bottom pair) were set up for a comparison with the overall mono "winner," Walter's RFTs (top pair -- the cylindrical body used to hold the AC supply, but Walter removed this to a separate box).

Tonmeister and speaker designer Andrew Lipinski set the mikes up and once again, Brian Cheney was the source, accompanied by Elaine Rinaldi. Also once again, the listeners were not aware which mike pair they were listening to until after the session was concluded.
