I originally posted this in Entry Level, but I think it might do better here.

I recently bought the MF V90 DAC and the wall wart that comes with it has a very high pitched whine when powered on. I have been reading about replacements, and getting a linear power supply is the obvious choice, but which one is hard. There is not very much information and a lot of choices from Asia. The web consensus is to go with the Pyramid, but thats 13.8 volts for a 12 volt unit and apparently it rolls off the high end, so even though its the most recommended, I am hesitant. There are also a bunch of options from Asia, I particularly like the TeraDak for no particular reason. But that is more expensive, un-reviewed yet 12 volts and comes with a fancy cable. Essentially I would like to know your thoughts if you have one about what I should do.
