I am looking to purchase a system to run my outdoor speakers. I am not an audiophile, however I am trying to get the most bang for my buck. I am looking at the Bryston B-100 SST C series as the integrated amplifer and adding another amplifier to this integrated amp so that I can run one set of speakers to each amplifier for a minimum of 150 W per channel to each of the speakers. I am running Mirage Oaisis 6 outdoor speakers and love the sound quality that they put forth, however I am looking to upgrade the source as well. My budget for this system is between 3K and 5K for the integrated amplifier and an extra amplifier. I am running two sets of speakers, one set above my deck outside and one set below the deck around the pool. I realize that outdoors is not the optimum area or environment for listening to music, however this is where I listen to music. I am also looking to upgrade the CD player that I have on my system in the future. Ihave been told that the Krell KRC-28 CD player is an excellent CD player and would only compliment this system. I would love to hear the members of this site's comments and or suggestions. As I stated, I am looking to get the most bang for my buck. I love loud music, however it has to be quality music. I cannot stand listening to music that has flaws in it or a bad source. While I understand that this is overkill for an outdoor system, this is the solution that I am looking at right now for the budget that I can afford. Please give me your opinion on this solution and offer any suggestions or advice that you may be willing to give. Any and all comments, suggestions, and or ideals will be greatly appreciated.
