I have a Yamaha P550 turntable with an Audio Technica Cartridge...
The record player sound is a bit inadequate, I find. I can't describe how exactly, but it sounds a little castrated.
The rest of my setup is Cambridge Audio Topaz SR10 Stereo Receiver and a pair of Wharfedale Diamond 230 with a Klipsch R12SW sub.
Is it worth replacing my record player with the one of the Pro Ject Debut or other inexpensive but reputable machines?
