I am new here, but have been scouting out these forums for a while. I tried the search function for xr55, but nothing came up, so I am just asking.
I recently purchased a new xr55 after reading some rave reviews about the sound for music / movies. I was intrigued by the reviews and thought i'd give it a shot in my new system.
Does anyone have any experience with this product on these forums? Also, what speakers would pair nicely with the panasonic xr55. A few i am thinking of...
1. Ascend Acoustics 170-SE (bookshelf), plus a subwoofer (i've heard good things about this combo)
2. Aperion Audio 533-T (tower) speakers (these look gorgeous, got a great review, and have a great return policy...i am just not sure how they would sound with the panny.)
any other thoughts?
Info: Room is fairly large - family room with natural tile floors, 12' ceilings, 12'x40' room (kitchen is adjacent).
